One of the things I love most about the British Royal Family is its depth. Here we have a lovely handwritten reply from Lady Pamela Hicks, the last surviving daughter of Lord Louis Mountbatten, Earl of Burma, the last Viceroy of India. Lady Pamela has responded no fewer than four times to my letters remarking on various occasions. This one is in reply to a birthday greeting I sent her less than one month ago. Many of my YouTube Channel joined in the celebration and sent her birthday messages of their own!

One of the distinct things to love about cards from this English Lady is the unique cards she chooses. From horses to flowers to dogs, you never know what the front of your card may feature!

As you can see, Lady Pamela’s handwriting isn’t as steady as it used to be. She is 97 after all! And to be honest, that is all the more reason to love this amazing and interesting woman who, even as senior as she may be, still takes the time to personally write and sign each response. Legend!
